If balance falls to $0, account is considered
closed.
Benefits:
No quarterly maintenance charge
for Senior Citizens 65 and over or direct deposit of social security
benefits.
Limitations:
Transfers from passbook savings account to
another account or to third parties by preauthorized transfer, automatic
transfer debit card, draft, fax or telephone are limited to six per
month.
Cost:
No quarterly maintenance charge unless balance falls
below $50. If balance falls below $50, a maximum quarterly maintenance
charge of $5 will be imposed.
There will be a $1 charge for each debit
transaction over twelve during the quarterly cycle.
Dormant accounts will be assessed a $5 per month
fee. A dormant account is one in which we no longer have contact
with the account owner (e.g. mail returned undelivered.)
There will be a $20 charge on an account closed
within 90 days of opening.
